Danica Sena “La Mora” Flamenco

La Mora has performed, choreographed and taught throughout Europe, Japan and the U.S. for over a decade, receiving critical acclaim. She lived in Spain for 5 years, honing her talents with the great masters of Flamenco, Classical and Folkloric dance. She was selected to perform with a world-class all-Spanish dance troupe from 1996-1998 in Japan. In addition to her exceptional teaching skills, La Mora is artistic director of Grupo Andanza and currently teaches at City Ballet School of San Francisco as well as ODC Dance Commons.

Peter Ajamien of Soja Martial Arts will teach a White Crane Silat class, and do a demonstration of this traditional Chinese-Indonesian Kung Fu style.

 

Alena Cawthorne Modern Dance

Alena Cawthorne presents a secret piece based on designs by Little Red Sparrow. Alena has presented her work at The West Wave Dance Festival, Dance Mission’s Harvest Festival, raw&uncut, The Black Choreographer’s Next Wave Showcase and as a RAW artist in residence at the Garage with City Life in December, 2007.
